As we all know, the 3 modernized consoles has been released which are: PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. I generally agree that all these consoles has their own differences which I totally like as having similarities among them would only lead to further controversy. As we all know, each one of us has their own preferences where we either side with the top 3 companies which are Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. I’ve been a fan of all three companies but what can I say “Sony wins most of me!”

As I’ve said before, their differences make the most of it. Although Xbox360 and PS3 have their similarities, these 2 consoles have their own differences. The most obvious probably is the graphics. I generally prefer Xbox360′s graphics. As far as I’ve seen, Microsoft had made its graphics its priority. Xbox360, as far as I’ve seen from videos, has better graphics. Although I sided with Microsoft as having the claim of better graphics, my opinions are not yet permanent. In due time, the consoles would move to a much higher level and that is when the true battle begins.

As for the game play, This is where Wii and the Sony Playstation 3 battle out. Nintendo Wii wins a part of me for their unique game plays. Considering that the wiimote uses movement sensors for you to be able to control your characters is just a dream come true. I mean like come on! You would never have expected that kind of gameplay earlier than expected. I generally thought those kinds of controls would only be possible when the consoles have reached its 4th or 5th generation. Nintendo has thought up of a way to show people a new contender in the world of consoles for as we all know that the GameCube didn’t get any much attention. Honestly, even without the graphics, the unique strategy of Wii has made an uproar. Plus, Nintendo also has the lowest price among the 3 consoles. How the hell could people deny something so extravagant?

Saying that much, the Sony PlayStation 3 also has their trump card which generally pulls other contenders back to the same ground or even lower than its current ground. Sony made its name in the past generation consoles so there is no doubt that Sony PlayStation 3 is the console most of us are setting their eyes for. Unfortunately when it comes to new and surprising gadgets and uniqueness, Wii wins my heart.

But I thought PS3 is your favorite console? So why are you advertising or complimenting other consoles? You may have thought of those question as you read each paragraph of my review. This is the reasons why I had to compliment other consoles:

• First of all, we all know that PlayStation 3 has been quite disappointing as we (or probably just me) had far greater expectations of the most popular console of the former generation. Having Wii take the spot of the most bizarre and unique console is just very disappointing for Sony.
• PlayStation 3 also has lost the introductory battle in regards to graphics. Like come on, PlayStation won against the previous consoles so why drop the graphics?
• Sony has always been the late bloomer. It has been what Sony has always been doing. Disappointing the fans at the very beginning but satisfies those who stayed in the end.
• And always the common saying “Save the BEST for LAST!”

Moving on, Sony as we all know is a late bloomer. It always had been ever since the PlayStation1. Plus having won against the previous consoles, Sony PlayStation 3 has won the hearts of gamers and corporate alike. Considering that as an advantage, PlayStation 3 has won unique and individual games for its own. With that as its trump card, more and more gamers are anxious of what PlayStation 3 has to offer. We all know that PlayStation 3 has gotten its hands on Final Fantasy XIII Versus which as we all know is exclusive for PS3. There are also thousands of exclusive RPGs that were only intended for PS3 to use. That serves as one of the main reasons why I still love Sony.

And what more PlayStation 3 also focuses more on Online Play. Damn oh Damn! What will I do without you?! I have been quite the fan of online gaming. From MMORPGs of Ragnarok to online virtual life like Second Life, I have been playing MMORPGs all my life. Plus I also play games like Counter Strike Source and Warcraft 3 although all of those games are only playable through a PC.But the moment I knew that Sony PlayStation 3 is going to cover up the fields of online gaming, Damn! I was too anxious to buy a console that I hardly had a sleep that night.

Actually to be honest, I’m currently doing this blog in the middle of the night…and so far this is where I have to stop. I still have work to do in the morning so I have to sleep. I have recently joined a social site called “MyLot”. As for my experiences in the said site, I have quite a lot to brag about.

From the first day of me joining MyLot, I had quite the time of my life. MyLot offers quite a lot of topics for you to talk about. You are given the freedom to talk about different topics ranging from social life, education, everyday events to political issues. It is not too often that you find such a friendly social site in the web. The people you can interact with are really friendly. Many of them are also about to interact with you and your chosen topic. With lots of other people and different cultures combined, you are sure to have a lot of fun interacting with others. And you might not even realize that you have already spent your entire day in MyLot.

MyLot is truly amazing. It has different features that other social sites don’t. Although I haven’t tried all its features, I was able take grasp of its current available features. One of the features I liked best is the header which contains all your interests. You can easily click your interest and you’ll be redirected to topics which you can be sure to relate in. Another feature I also liked is that site is interactive plus it’s really easy to circle around the site without you having a problem in interacting with the environment. MyLot also has a friend system with you can easily access your friend’s profiles with ease. You wouldn’t need to keep searching your friends in able to gain access to their own individual profiles. It also has an interactive home page where you can easily reach the top discussion and the activities you have done for the day is also noted by the site.

The best of all, MyLot offers to pay you for using their site. With each comment you may be able to earn yourselves 0.01 dollars. Just imagine yourself having 1000 post and is also active. You would be able to collect at most $10. You’ll only need to have at least 4-5 lines of comments and it needs to be substantial with the said topic and POOF~! You’ll find yourself earning in no time! The site also reviews your comments in the site within 24 hours. Not only would you enjoy interacting with different people, you’ll also find earning money with no difficulty at all. It’s really EASY!

And that doesn’t stop there! The site also offers different tasks available for the members where they can also earn more as they accomplish each task. I am currently enjoying the site. It’s really amazing. I mean not only do you enjoy you can also earn money through interacting. I mean it’s really GREAT! Plus, the site doesn’t require you to post a minimum number of comments. It’s such a simple way of enjoying while earning an extra bucket of cash. I really recommend others to join the site as well. Just recently I have finished watching the series Clannad and am planning to watch the next season which is Clannad:After Story. I simply want to share my opinion about the series and I simply want to review the said series.

Art:

I am truly amazed by the art used in the series. Compared to its manga counterpart, the art used in the series are much different from the manga. The art was simply astonishing and capitivating that you might even find yourself falling in with the gorgeous female characters. That of course applies to male viewers who seem to criticize every detail of an art work. I may even be considered as one of the hardest critics as I don’t let even a tiny detail of an artwork to leave my criteria. I do consider that  an art work should be made in perfection and one should never draw if he/she doesn’t throw his/her best in the said art. The art of the series simply amazing and capitivating and I could said that without a doubt I’d give it a grade of 9 out of 10 for the art.

Environment:

The series implies an environment for a high school teenage romance. The setting used is a High School, which is quite the typical setting for japanese love stories, where 2 different person meets one another. It is quite common so 7/10 would suffice.

Setting:

Clannad uses the setting of a High School teenage romance. The environment used is a High School as indicated above. The setting used is a high school on top of a hill. The first scene shows that Cherry Blossom trees are growing in the path they use to go up the hill. The story uses the sickly-kind girl to a delinquent guy love story. Compared to other love stories, it was unique its own way. The story also doesn’t leave out a story which is too serious/boring as it also has its own jokes to share which could make viewers laugh till their stomaches burst. Both characters are faced with different problems concerning their families, selves, friends and their environment. As for rating it, I could say that 8.5/10 is never a good enough rating for it.

Storyline:

Clannad uses the storyline of 2 high school student, a delinquent and a sickly girl who repeats because of her sickness. The two are faced with different problems concerning their families, selves and friends. With both of them side by side, they begin to face this problems with their own strengths. The story is also divided into different arcs with each concerning of the different characters in the story.I’d rate it 10/10. ^_^

Sound:

The sound of the anime is also quite amazing though it is also quite the typical kind. But still the cute voices of the characters seem to echo inside my mind for moments. Their cute and charming voices would attract you deeper to the anime. Also considering the OP and ED songs, I’m you’d end up downloading it and you’ll be listening to it for more than a week. Their voices are simply appealing so I’ll grade it a 9/10.

I highly recommend people, otaku or not, to watch the series as you are missing a love story of that’ll capivate you and may even drop you to tears.
